Steve, you were woven through the fabric of all our lives on here. It was very hard for me to do that justice to you, your family, your mates, friends and colleagues in a eulogy. You have entrusted all of us with looking after Elena, Rory and Amelia. That is a challenge we will all rise to in the future. It was said many times that when Steve left us, the world dimmed a little. I think if we can keep inside us maybe one of those attributes or anecdotes that I listed in the eulogy, we can all be a little more Steve. Then we can turn that brightness back up a tad. You will always be missed Steve. You will never be forgotten. I saved two words for the end of the reflections, that I wanted to add before I’d finished talking. STUPID CANCER.
